I keep forgetting to tell you that your guy saved my ass during the hostage situation. Having met actual Disney princes, I'm pretty sure he's secretly one of them.
No, that would be too simple. The curse was responsible for my dad's alternate identity.
Before David met my mom, he was a farmer. Through a series of complicated events that I don't like to think about for too long, he became a prince. My mom, who was originally unimpressed with him, nicknamed him Prince Charming. I guess it stuck when the story of Snow White moved out of their world and into others.
And then a curse sent them all out of their realm without their real memories, and they forgot who they were to each other.
I broke the curse a few years ago. My son figured it out before I did, and then he wouldn't let me give up until I bought into it. Kinda hard to believe you're the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.
I've had to forget before, coming out of it was... difficult. I can't imagine what it's like for people to have to do that and face the world here.
If he was here, I could protect him myself. Up there, I have to trust that the natha will.
There's me, and his other mom, Regina. We lost his dad, Neal, but somehow Neal is in stasis, too. And he has a few guys in his life who'd do just about anything for him on top of that.

Yeah, it's Emma.
[ it was meant as a compliment, but not one she wanted to send directly to him. just something to make Diana smile.]
Fairytales. Disney makes movies with a lot of fairytales in them.

So who are you talking about?
[ He wouldn't be Steve if she thought she was talking about him. ]

[ think Steve think.]

That's incredibly flattering, Emma, but I'm no prince.
[ Just, you know, an above average guy. ]
So how is it you keep meeting fairytale princes? That suggests you're a princess.

[ somehow being identity manipulation and the nickname her mom gave him, but still.]
I grew up in the US, apparently curses are complicated.

But they remembered in the end? [ Hopefully there's a happy ending to this story... ]
I'd hate to forget those important to me... though I've heard that's what happens to some people who come out of stasis.

He's still in stasis, but I know we'll find each other.

But if he ever does get out, I'll be sure to keep an eye on him for you.

Thanks, I'm gonna need it. The kid takes after....all of his parents and finds trouble everywhere.

All of them? How many does he have?

Lucky kid to have that many people care about him.

He's a pretty great kid, I think the rest of us ended up lucky to have him.
